Danielle Fuselier, lead massage therapist at the Well & Being Spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, opens her spa kit.
As lead massage therapist at the Well & Being Spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where she’s worked for nearly 13 years, Danielle Fuselier uses a wide range of methods to help clients relax and turn off the stress of daily life. “It’s very gratifying... to be able to sit and have an actual hour to go over somebody’s concerns, an injury, anything,” she says. “To be able to give them that time is very precious to me.” Getting treated at a spa is an act of healing, she says, which is why she incorporates ancient Eastern techniques into massage. Her holistic approach relies on an eclectic collection of items. “Not everybody’s body is the same,” she says. “What you need is not what she needs, and is not what she needs. We have lots of different ways to heal you [individually].”
